NYC Mens preview - Brojos giving too much credit to Geoffrey Mutai

Ryan Hall ran 2.04.58 in Boston. To be honest I don't think he is better than 2.06 without wind.

But I do think G Mutai has the same ability as in 2010 to run with Makau and then get beaten in the sprint.

One can easilly become way too technical about these comparisons. All in all, it seems that Makau, G. Mutai, and several others are racing the marathon at a similar level, and any one of them can shine on a given day. That's what makes the races with deeper fields (London, New York) so interesting.

I'm picking E. Mutai for the win (while hoping to see Kebede or Gebremariam pull off an upset).

One thing I have to admit is Geoffrey Mutai's consistancy, that is great.

No disrespect, Geoffrey Mutai is a great runner, one of the greatest, but I think the other Mutai is stronger.

Great run for Ed Moran. He should have been running th marathon a long time ago!!!

Wheels fell off of Bobby Curtis. Curtis was basically 1 minute behind Moran at 23 miles but ran 602 and 6;32 for 25 and 26.
