I ran 102 miles last week. How many people in the world do you think ran further?

What, are you joking? No more than 100 in the US? In the US college running population alone there are way more people than that.

I would bet there several hundred (if not more) just in the US who ran more considering the NCAA system, pro runners, and those guys who just run a lot. I would also bet there are MANY africans who ran more. Don't Japanese guys run a lot as well?

I am calling bullshat on five high school boys averaging 100+ over the course of 12 weeks. Name the high school.

theres a guy on my team that only runs in the mid 70s and his prs are a good deal faster than mine. how much you run doesnt mean shit compared to how much quality you get in

I know several MO high schools that run that much. West Plains is the one I was referring to. Just cause I visit this site does not mean I have to be a shatter! I use a real name, don't make it up every time I post. That way I have to back up what I say and cannot lie to myself and others.

WP will drop it down to 50 or 60 the week before state and win both girls and boys titles in the big school division even though they are the smallest school in 4A. Last I knew, the gals are only running 60 but want more!! Great coach!!

I'd guess the number of people that ran 102+ is higher than you estimate. Just a random guess, but I'd say closer to 1000+ in the USA.

Now if you mutilated your genitals, AND ran 102 miles, you would be in an exclusive club.

i was 110 and my whole team for the most part was over 100. so add 30 guys right there. theres definitely atleast 500-1000 people doing this id bet

I know four people who ran that much or more. Here is the math to extrapolate how many people ran that much or more in the whole world:

I know almost 500 people (number of facebook friends I have). Out of those, 4 people ran 102 or more mile last week. That comes out to .008 (or .8%). The population of the world is 6.94 billion. To figure out how many ran 102 or more miles last week, you simply multiply 6.94 billion by .008. It comes out to 55.5 million.

I thought I saw a lot of runners out this week.
