I thought three things stuck out:
1) Mileage is always high. 120 would be a low week, 130 -140 more common.
2) They never run really fast or really slow. Everyday pace is 6 min. or better. Workouts target marathon pace or a little faster but they never do anything at even 5k or 10k pace.
3) Zero emphasis on drills, core or other ancillary work. If it's done it is done on their own.
