Has anyone else ever seen him run with these tactics? I always felt he blew a big opportunity in '08 by going out too hard.
I f*cking love Khadevis Robinson. Great guy and a savvy racer. He can take out races and win them from the front or sit and kick.
He is still a prominent figure in the US 800 that the young guns need to worry about. People thought he was done last year, but he never left. He still rabbited Kaki through in 1:44mid. I think he made the right move last year. He recognizes that he isn't as young as he used to be, and he saved his body from hard serious racing for the championship year.

Like many I thought KD was going to be done after last year when he was rabbiting races and skipped USA's. This is one of those times when I'm very happy to admit I was wrong.
Great race KD - now can we get those Russians to be America's new track and field announcers? Joking - I swear I've never heard less excitement out of commentators. Any Russian translators out there?

That was incredible to watch. Kick of the week or else pacing of the week. The other guys looked like they were running in a different race when he made his move. It was as if the pack moved as a pack and he ran the whole race on his own. You can see at the start when he's way back, then the pack clumps, lets him get back into it, and then he just goes around them all. Impressive.
Too bad they changed camera shots just as he was making his move. But incredible to see him go from last to first in less than a lap. Dominating win. Awesome.

Were the commentators even watching the race? Never once did I hear a distinguishable name - even at the end. Their excitement level barely rose in the finishing stretch, and they kept on talking after the finish. WTF?
What a great Spring for the 800 in the US! Rob Novak has a 1:46.01 and is #10 on this season's list. Only 2 sub-1:45's as of yet, Primm and Mulder, but impressive early season results nevertheless.
A great race for KD. He kept his composure during that suicidal 1st 200 when everyone else lost theirs and his last 300 meters were awesome. It was indeed interesting that NOBODY had an answer for his move.

I think you need to step up ya language game dog. You can hear them say names the whole time. I don't speak russian but I heard lots of names.
