are slotmachines what you do with a math degree? i could get in on that racket...
anyway, i like what you say about long runs, miles, tempos... a couple of questions... 1)what if you did the long run once a week, instead of once every two weeks, and 2) if you're going "allout" with anaerobic intervals, do you think maybe one would be better served by substituting high volume of more controlled intervals, and then doing strides every often?
the last two seem to be what rodgers and shorter did (with the high miles and tempos) week in, week out, for years and years and.........
also, there is the bonus question of throwing tempo into long run. like JK suggests, or like, to take it further, the way KK sprints the last 2 miles of his long run. so intense that he CANNOT SLEEP the night BEFORE them. how many people on earth train like that?
