I decided years ago when I was a official for UF Track and Field, while officiating the SEC indoor championships polw vault competition, that I would marry a pole vaulter. They were the hottest bunch in the place.
Alas, I failed in my quest, but I still quite enjoy the event for both the athletics and the aesthetics involved.

8:37 for Defar, 8:39 for Flanagan, I think. She never quite closed that gap enough to make it interesting, though Defar did take a couple glances behind her over the last 300m.

I appreciate the effort to look at all events happening, but it would've been nice to get an update on more than first place, who was the obvious pick for first place.
The German site I was watching on barely showed the 3000...they were showing Swedish vaulters, high jumpers, and triple jumpers instead.

Why was Payne not DQed? Clearly they called a FS. And to me it looked like he did FS. Was that a mistake?
