Just went for Pizza with the family

Not true. but priorities do change as you get older and even meet someone who is more special than anyone else ever was.

I remember one day a long time ago. I was hangin out on these steps over looking an elementary school playing field waiting for my friends to get out fo work so we go out partying on a Saturday night.

This car pulls up, a young kid and his father get out and they hit a baseball around for a few minutes and go home.

I thought that it would be cool to have that.

Not too many years after that, that was me. I don't regret it at all- not what I did before and not the life I made with my family.

It's all Seinfeld's fault. I'm constantly amazed at how a mundane thread topic takes off.....like a show about nothing.

Eh, I'm 22, and this weekend I had a nice dinner with the gf (who I love), picked some things up at the grocery store, went home and watched a movie, and then had fantastic sex. It's one of the best ways I know how to spend my time, far better than anything I did when I was single or hanging with the guys. Kids are not in our life, obviously. If you had told me that is how I'd spend a Friday night a year ago I would have laughed in your face, but when you have someone you truly love, even simple times can be a lot of fun.

I wasn't surprised at all. We do this quite often. I just wanted to see how the board would respond to this.

I thought it would be funny to see the people make fun of me for being dull when they are at home on a Saturday night posting on a message board. At least I had an excuse, my kids were upstairs in bed and I was on the couch with my wife watching The Deer Hunter (So sad and creepy, by the way).

I still have wild times too, I just pay for it by being super hungover and having to make the kids breakfast at 7am say, or by paying a Tuna boat captain 400 bucks to drop me at the nearest port once I sobered up and realised where I was and realised I was supposed to be at work.

Just don't let your 26 year old attitude close the door on possible amazing experiences like having kids - view the world with an open mind and you won't miss out.
