I always love to come on letsrun to see all of the chin nutz who thrive to see any american runner fail..there is no american fans who ever want to see a fellow american runner succeed in this so called sport. No wonder why it is a DEAD sport that has zero success on the international scene. WTG
Let's settle this once and for all: distance racing is not popular because it isn't exciting to watch for the average person. It has nothing to do with the attitudes of assholes on the internet - if you don't believe me read some of the comments on football articles.

he ran very well as a freshman but was injured twice that year, so 3:39 1st/3:55i/7:47i/13:22/1st Junior N XC/13th World Junior XC w/an injury is pretty damn good. He's been unhealthy since. In his first fully healthy year, he will do much more.

There are many people who want to see an American runner succeed. Come to Depsey (Seattle) or Mt. Sac.
What you see here is what a bunch of jerks you find on letsrun.
German seemed healthy but the shoe fell off. I would expect something VERY fast in Seattle from the OK State guys.
Ok States freshman seem to have gotten worse since high school. Dave Smith is not the coach everyone thinks he is. He is just lucky to have all the talent in the world come to him.
