What says you about the situation in EGYPT?

Truman recognized Israel to get the Jewish vote in the US in the '48 election over the protests of then Sec of State Marshall, who nearly resigned.

Why Marshall didn't remains a mystery to me, as he KNEW the Arab States' oil would be Vital to the US in what became the Cold War.

HE alienated the Arab World over 60 years ago. We are seeing the consequences now.

This is a very dangerous situation for the US.

That "US Crusades against Islam" is the worst sort of hyperbole, but Truman set the stage to save his own political chances back in the day.

We in the US are in deep danger. Hoping for Democracy in these states is a pipe dream, and the best of all possible worlds for Al-Qaeda, Binne & their offshoots.

Like it or not the internet has given birth to a Middle East Rensaissance. It's the 1980's again, the Berlin Wall is coming down. Hope to see the regimes in Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Israel, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. collapse soon. Let us pray for freedom.

Bush pardoned all of these thieving CEO dolts, Enron, etc. They got off easy and stole everyone's money/

There's no excuse for W. Bush and his crimes. But there is also no excuse for Obama and his crimes against humanity in the Middle East.

The once feared security police have pretty much retreated. I'm not sure how Mubarak can hang on unless the army backs him and that's by no means certain. I see him in exile in Saudi Arabia within a week and some sort of caretaker government in place.

No doubt about where he stands...another one of our wonderful allies. The US needs to stop backing and ignoring bad leaders.

Mubarak is preparing to cut and run to Israel to be with his kind. Civil War is about to break out in Egypt.

It's sad to see how brainwashed some people are. Just to remind you guys, stories about "bad situation" in Iran (or, for example, in Belarus) spreaded by US government have as much truth in it, as stories about bad situation in Poland spreaded by Third Reich just before 1939.

Barry should take the lead by announcing a unilateral halt of foreign aid, military aid, and intelligence cooperation with any regime or government which refuse to administer for all persons within their control 100% Civil Rights, 100% Suffrage, 100% Freedom of Speech, 100% Human Rights by December 31, 2011. That means cut off Israel, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, Russia, Iraq, Morrocco, Algeria, Afghanistan, Yemen, etc. and of course Egypt.

I dont know much about the situation in Egypt, but all I want to know is will this effect the price of gas?

Kuwait has the most wicked ruler in the region. I expect a major uprising soon.
