Lifelong runner, thanks. Glad you "get it!"

Considering I said I've never met any of them, I'm not sure how you'd arrive at that conclusion. I just pay attention to the Chicago racing scene.
Also, last I checked, Fast Track has something like 140 members, so even if I were a member I'd have a tough time believing you could "call me out by name."
It sounds like a worthwhile film focusing on some interesting and talented women. It would sure be nice to focus on building each other up as women (and men)rather than cutting each other down.

Wendy, I saw your comment on Heather's blog about letsrun.com and how they also have ripped your Miles and Trials film. The difference is that this thread is mostly positive posts, with two negative posters that are just trying to get some attention. In Heather's case, it has become a long discussion about what is right and wrong in asking for appearance money and what level of a runner you need to be. Yes, many of the posts are negative towards Heather, but in general it has been a good discussion. I think Heather will learn from it and realize that if she is going to post a blog publicly and rip on a race director, she needs to expect what happened after that. That is the biggest thing that people are forgetting in Heather's case, is that it all started from her ripping on a race director. Sometimes what goes around, comes around.
Kudos to anyone who is willing to make a goal, and announce it to the world. These girls are stepping up to the line and taking a chance.
You never know what you can do until you put yourself out there. Way to go!
It's nice to see someone pushing a good, positive idea on the message boards. Who cares about Jay Cutler on LR message boards? Positive exposure for our sport is rare and we should do all we can to encourage it.

Born to Run trailer looked awesome. Somebody should get that thing out there on the black market or something.
Is this trailer still available somewhere on the web or did you see this awhile ago?
I would see it. I love a good inspirational film.
