It's one thing to have views about abortion in an abstract sense, and quite another to determine how you'll react personally when it's actually YOU involved in a real way, not some other concept of "other people."

I would suggest that ANYONE should be affected in some way by actually having to go through with an abortion, no matter their personal views on the general question. Maintaining a general opinion about the legality or morality of abortion is one thing. Making the decision to do it yourself (as opposed to just not being opposed to other people doing it) requires a different level of thought.

I can't imagine any thinking, feeling person not feeling at least SOME concern over the morality of aborting the feotus inside them (or their partner), regardless of their more general feelings on the subject.

I hope that clarifies where I'm coming from.

I'm not saying only psychopaths will have abortions - far from it.

I'm also not saying abortion is wrong (although I'll admit to being opposed to it, in general, myself - but not for religious reasons, as I am entirely non-religious).

I'm only suggesting that for someone to have ZERO emotional or psychological reaction to going through it themselves, they must lack some aspect of normal human feeling.

Just my opinion of course.

Let's put it this way -

if a woman is regularly having sex, regularly getting pregnant, and regularly having abortions - which is the case for lots of Russian women - that's more likely to damage at least their physical health than using condoms and never getting pregnant, regardless of the psychological effects of abortion and regardless of any moral issues.

Blacks of West African descent have more masculine features than other races, including the women. This bodes well for the males, but not so well for the females. There are still some very attractive black women, though. You would be crazy/racist to deny that.

That's an issue for the girl / woman and her doctor to decide. Medical issues are personal and private, and not for others to decide.

(1) Direct abortion (as opposed to an indirect abortion in a case such as removing the uterus, and with it, a fetus, when there is uterine cancer) is the opposite of medicine. It is an intervention to solve a social problem, not a medical issue.

(2) While abortion was championed in the name of privacy in the USA, it is publicly funded, and has been for decades. Did you not notice that that reason alone was sufficient for many to oppose President Obama's Health Care Plan?
