There are many times more women-only academic scholarships than there are men-only academic scholarships. Where the hell is the Title IX equivalent to provide equal opportunities for men when they're the ones who are getting the short-end?
It was a noble cause to increase opportunities for women when their participation in academia was lagging behind men. That is no longer the case, as women outnumber men at pretty much all post-secondary institutions. If anything, we should be looking at ways to encourage men to stay with school. If that means having more athletic scholarships for men (there are more men interested in sports than women, so this would seem fair) I'm all for it.
Everybody always points to the fact that men hold all of the top-paying positions in society. That may be true, but the people in those positions are from the baby-boom generation, when men were still outperforming women in schools and the job market. It's a fact that single, childless women in their 20s now earn 8% more than single men in their 20s and I would expect that there will be a lot more women leading corporations in the future IF that is what they desire to do with their lives.

I don't get why universities still have women's studies courses and women's help centers but nothing similar for men. Men are the ones who find themselves in the minority these days. I fvcking hate people who are still pushing feminism in this country (I certainly agree that it's a worthy goal in others).
