Thanks, is that what those people with funny bands arounds there knees are using them for?? Usually the knee pain just seems to go away on its own after a few weeks of running but I have an SI joint problem so that might be making it worse. You know, my pathetic walk/run is still a hell of a lot better than 95% of my professional friends honestly . . . just get out there and start at whatever level confronts you... including those of us at the somewhat pathetic end of letsrun.com, although I'm pretty happy with myself overall...!
