"The federal government must not be indebted to any institution or foreign nation"
We could use a bit of that.

Not funny, bro.
Did you just say "bro"? I knew it! I knew it was impossible for there to be two people as annoying as V3 and FP - one and the same.
Thanks for making that clear.
Though we pretend not to be in order to look PC, we are a Christian nation. My Constitution would acknowledge this fact.
Now you're thinking. There is a way for politics to operate organically so that the wishes of the people are actually adhered to. This idea is tragically lost to 99.9% of the American people because we have been blinded by the infallibility of the "founding fathers." The concepts of districts and winner-take-all elections are so mind bogglingly stupid and unnatural that you wonder how we ever got by using them when the alternative is so much easier to use and makes more people happy. The law of natural selection can apply to politics in the same way they apply to biology and economics if you let it.

What does that mean?

As much as I wish what you were saying it's true, I have to disagree. Although you can dismiss it as just "talk" I think Obama's claim that, "We are no longer a Christian nation" (or whatever precisely he said, is a prophetic declaration of where this country is going. We are on the downward slope and the pace keeps getting faster.
Once again, what does it mean to be a "Christian nation"?

One in which Jesus Christ and his Kingdom, not America, is the central focus of the nation.
then America has never been a Christian nation....
And thank goodness too!
Civilian Police, Fire, and Safety workers must be hired by local elected citizen personnel board of residents not former safety workers or relatives.
Civilian Police, Fire, and Safety workers and family must reside within 1 mile of the station house.
Civilian Police, Fire, and Safety employment is "at will" and may be terminated at any time without notice by the local elected citizen personnel board of residents.
Do away with electoral college. Enact some form of proportional representation. Compact the legislative branch. The other two branches still stay effectively the same. Like it or not, we need an executive leader when things go bad.
I would make the Bill of Rights even stronger. I feel like Congress has no problem getting around it today. All this current homeland security stuff is getting a little out of hand. There are definitely ways to keep us safe while still respecting privacy.
End the 2nd amendment arguments by clarifying that "the people" ALWAYS means each and every citizen. I'm tried of liberals selectively interpreting the Constitution that they hold so dear.
Were we intended to be a "Christian nation?" Not according to George Washington:
‘George Washington asked in a March 24, 1784, letter to his aide Tench Tilghman that some craftsmen be hired for him: “If they are good workmen, they may be of Assia, (sic) Africa, or Europe. They may be Mahometans, (Muslims) Jews, or Christian of any Sect – or they may be Atheists …
God is mentioned only once in the Constitution--in the part where is says "in the year of our Lord, 1789."
All elected officials have to pass an exam that shows they understand the content of the bills they are voting on. The results of these exams will be made public.
Congress shall not exempt itself from any law.
No elected official shall be permitted to vote 'present'.
No person may serve in any elected federal office for more than two (2) terms.
No person may serve for more than a sum total of 12 years in all federal elected offices held.
How about exams for voters to prove that they are familiar with the positions of the candidates for whom they are voting?
In WA we have voting material printed in like 10 different languages. I always question how a non-english speaker can be sufficiently familiar with the public debate to cast an intelligent vote.
How about free six-packs of beer, bottles of wine, fifths of whiskey, sherms, doobies, handjobs, child porn DVDs, etc. to encourage voters to turn out on election day.

Define goodness please...cause I just think you've been reading the wrong book.
Well I am not entirely sure how to define goodness - I'll admit that.
But I do not think that it would include the support of slavery, misogyny, incest, rape, and mass murder on a scale never before or since approached by mortal man all of which is plain for all to read in "The Good Book".
1. No acceptance of contributions or any other bribery permitted for elected or non-elected government workers.
2. 2 years of mandatory combat infantry military service required upon election into any federal position.
3. Foreign entities cannot purchase or own real estate in the US.
4. No free pensions for elected or non-elected government workers.
5. No unrelated earmarks attached to a bill.
6. No federal government buildings, highways, bridges etc to be named after any federal employee. Must be named after a random taxpayer.
7. Let DC be represented in the House of Reps.
Foreign Medical AID, Foreign Military AID, and Foreign Intelligence Partners must sign and actively enforce the US Bill of Rights and adhere to International Human Rights for all persons within it's borders or colonial occupation.

We never talked about the Koran.
Apparently you haven't read the bible.
Interesting note - In my experience, most atheists have read the bible while most "Christians" have not. I'm guessing you are one of the latter if you think the above does not apply to the bible (as opposed to what you've been told to believe about the bible).
