Agreed. I'm a dog lover (have a black lab), and I wouldn't even go kill some cats (I hate cats), so I don't understand that mentality, but the dude served the time the JUDGE and the LAW say is appropriate for this crime, and he's done virtually everything right since. People who are close to the situation say he's sincere in saying that he's a changed man.Just how long should Vick have spent in jail? People who do horrible crimes against other PEOPLE often spend less time in jail than Vick did. Get incensed over that.

It won't matter, he'll be out of the NFL in less than 3 years. One because he'll get hurt because he needs to run because his completion percentage isn't good enough, Two he'll get comfortable once he makes money again, Three he'll mess up and get suspended for life, he's got one strike left and he's still got a ton of GHETTO in him.

In U.S. Vick get jail for death of dogs. In SE Asia, he can open a restaurant.

Karma - he clinched the division and a #3 seed and will rest this Sunday against the Cowboys before hosting either the Packers or the Giants next week.

Had they won the game, they still would likely have the #3 seed but he would have played and gotten more battered this Sunday for an oustide shot at a bye.

I don't think his sentence was fair. He's a pro athlete with an amazing athletic gift so, of course, he's a bit coddled. Imagine if it was your dog that he slammed to death on the pavement?

It would suck if someone did that to my dog but whoever did that would not serve 2 days in jail much less 2 years. 2 years is an extremely long time for what Vick did. Multiple drunk driver convictions get less. Some manslaughter convictions get probation. So you obviously have a problem with Ray Lewis?

Hey, where did you go to law school? What statutes can you cite as background to support your view that the sentence was too weak? A FEDERAL JUDGE gave him two years, a FEDERAL JUDGE knows a hell of a lot more about the law than you do and will not be swayed by Vick's celebrity or the emotion of the crime (dog lover, pet lover, etc.)

You need to get a grip.
