The store was rated in the top 5 by the IRRA, and has been top 50 for numerous years now. Doesent matter though I put it in there that I worekd there to show it wasnt simply wrong shoes.
They watched me run numerous miles in the shoes, and knew my history of injures and trianing. I was in the Air Zoom Elites, which i had no problems in. However, nike ruined the shoes with the lunar system.
I weigh about 142, 6 ft tall, typical runners build. Within the past month or so i have begun weights for upper and lower inlcuding core. I tend to wear down the outside front portions of the shoes, which yes i know means i dont need the support. The front 1/3 of the shoe along the outter edge shows wear on all my shoes. Yes I know that means i supinate, and dont need the supprt, but am afraid to get away from the support due to knee issues in the past.
I have run in the Ravena which has felt alright as a lightweight trainer. I would defiinetly consider training in a pair of ds-trainers or the 905. Now that you said somthing bout it, my shin doesnt bother me as much when was racing or doing faster workouts. Idk if thats just because i am more efficent, or warmed up or adrenaline flowing, but it deffinetly didnt bother me as much when in the mana or ds-racer.
laughingostrich- It isnt the 2 mile differnce. But its the prolonged period of time at 70+. I have gone months at 60-68 mile weeks no problems. but it seems like when i move into that 70 range and try to maintian things start to break down, esp as I maintain for a few weeks, before coming down to recover.
I am going to a sports med clinic, and they are going to do a gain analyis of me now that I am able to start running again. Hopefully its a bio issue and can figure out what to do!
appreciate all the feedback
