I did find Step brothers to probably be the funniest, but it certainly is not the "best".
Exactly the problem with anyone who rates movies. What's the point of a comedy? TO BE FUNNY. Therefore, step brothers is in deed the "best".

that`s a good one, i have it ranked 2nd behind elf
That one where he did that stupid thing. Oh wait, I can't segregate them based on that criteria.

best? ha.
Seriously. I don't think the word "best" can be associated with anything that Will Ferrell has done. Well, maybe "best lack of humor" or "best box office bomb."

GTFO and go read a book because "it's better than the movie". Also drink some tea because it's better for you than coffee. Oh, and have some indie music playing in the background.
The one with Kevin Bacon in it.
Old School
Elf
Anchorman
'Best' Will Ferrell movie? I loved his role in Oxymoron. Really captures his essence.
There are comedies that are good movies, and then there are funny movies that are bad. I don't care what you say.
Here's my question for the Ferrell haters: If you're so mature and sophisticated that you can't understand the appeal of Ferrell's movies, how can you also be so petty and childish that you would deliberately click on a thread about Will Ferrell simply to shit all over everyone's enjoyment of his movies? Is it because you like the feeling of superiority over other people you've never met? That's it, isn't it?
My favorite is Anchorman. Pure idiotic bliss.

Seeing posters get upset in defense of Will Ferrell is more entertainment than his movies.
"Pearl the Landlord" is sheer genius
What I do love, is that there is Ferrell movie on pretty much every night. The no swearing thing is definitely a problem for me though.
Has anyone seen his drunk history bit?

I wasn't defending Will Ferrell. I don't know the guy. I was defending my enjoyment of his movies. And I'm not even really upset about being insulted. I don't give a shit if someone doesn't like Will Ferrell movies. But why comment on a thread you have no interest in? Because you like getting a rise out of people anonymously? Again, that's pretty childish.
Ashley Schaeffer BMW. Wooo!
Best? Stranger Than Fiction.
Funniest? Old School or Anchorman (I haven't seen The Other Guys yet, but I've heard good things -- I think he plays the straight man, believe it or not...)
