it's because it's been asked so many times & pretty pointless by now as there is no candidate out there
asbel/choge/silas are all capable of 3'28-flat in a perfect race with perfect preparation next year, but that is a proverbial mile from 3'25.9
trying :
http://www.jundo.co.uk/in oder to run, you need these theoretical under/over distance parameters ( doesn't mean you have to be able to run them but you coud follow the required 3k pace for say 2+km before tailing off or 5k for 4k before fading )
3'25.9
off
1'45.00 ->7'11.7 , 12'24.0
1'44.00 ->7'15.9 , 12'36.0
1'43.50 ->7'18.0 , 12'42.0
1'43.25 ->7'19.0 , 12'44.9
1'43.00 ->7'20.0 , 12'47.9
1'42.75 ->7'21.1 , 12'50.9
1'42.00 ->7'22.1 , 12'53.9
& for rudy
1'41.00 ->7'28.3 , 13'11.9
if rudy coud run close to 13'10 currently he coud do it !!
joking apart, you need to be looking at a 1500 guy with 1'43-flat speed & that leaves asbel as best of current bunch
i do think in his 1'43 form he couda gone 7'30 ( he ran 7'42 as a junior iirc ),so
1'43.0 / 7'30.0 ->3'28.3
i do think asbel has been capable of this in past 2y but just not got right race
