Why do women always start another relationship before they end their current one?

About five years ago, I was friends with a girl that I dated on and off for a few years. We were friends with benefits until about one year before we took a trip together. We took a road trip from Wisconsin to upstate NY. I still had it bad for her, but she had a boyfriend. In our Times Square hotel, we only had one bed. I had a hard time with this, but she didn't seem to mind. We also rented a house for a few days up in the mountains. She peed with the door open and it didn't seem to bother her.....but, it drove me crazy! Damn that girl.

When your bed is a twin there is no way to avoid the cuddle if sleeping two and I doubt many folks who have a sexual history could deal with it. A full is cramped, too cramped for me, if you are keeping a non-sexual distance. Truth even a queen is iffy.

A standard crib width is 28 inches and a twin is 39 so with two in a twin each gets 8 inches less than a crib width to themselves.

I assume you mean bathroom door and not that she left the front door open when she went to pee in nthe yard. If her peeing bothered you why the flock did you not say something?

HaHa! Dude, I know exactly what you're talking about. I went to school for engineering and in classes full of early 20-somethings, there were always a few mid-30ish married women and they all had the following in common:

1. None of them had jobs

2. Husbands were all supporting them and paying for college

3. They hated their husbands

4. They were all planning divorce once they got the degree and a job.

5. They were all looking for boy toys.

You are very wise to steer clear of these women.

Also, if your 30-something (or older) wife wants to go back? to college, I'd advise against paying for it.

As for why do women grab the next branch before letting go of the old one, I have no idea. I wonder if this is common practice in other countries.

I don't know what school you went to but my engineering classes were about 5-10% females, 0.5% attractive females, 0% older women. If I hadn't run xc I wouldn't have known any girls.

Peck on lips crap! my exwife and I tongue kiss to say hello and we have been divorced so long the papyrus our divorce papers are on has long turned to dust.

My last serious relationship was with a co-worker who was very unhappy in her marriage. We hung around at work a lot and after work occasionally, with other people around. Then we started hanging out after work, and it was clear we had feelings for each other. I like to believe she was unhappy in her marriage before we started getting close. She was 10+ years younger than her husband. She was in the process of moving out and getting a divorce when we started hooking up. We were together for over a year, and things went really well between us, however, we are no longer together.

Now I'm about to attend a HS reunion, and my friend from HS (whom I was crazy about) is emailing me about how bad her marriage is. We're meeting up before the reunion for drinks.

In short, I echo a lot of the comments which have been already made on this board. Women can be insecure and afraid of being alone. Meanwhile, I'll take what I can get. I'm just a squirrel trying to get a nut (figuratively).

My ex was unfaithful, twice. Including when she was looking to get out of our marriage. I know n=1 doesn't prove anything but I also don't know that your girlfriend's astuteness counts for much in resolving this either.

I think the most obvious reason, and one I don't believe has been considered yet, is that men/women are willing to put up with a bad situation, until they see a better situation presented to them. Using the job analogy: you hate your job, but you deal with it and make the best of it. Then one day, you start hearing about this new job at a different company, and suddenly you have a reason to leave your old job. Sometimes it is just easier to deal with a bad situation than trying to change your situation. Seeing a better way, job, partner, etc. merely spurs action to better the way things are.

It's becuz we gals are smarter than men. No doubt 10X smarter than the running nerd boys here. LOLOL!!!

It's like this - we look at men as cars. Why would you want to get rid of your old car before buying a new one. What will you do in between? Get in a friggin' city bus? Or walk? What kind of a girl does that?!
