Harry Wilson coached the best runners over an extended period, but he did tend to poach athletes who had already shown the talent to excel.
Coe did a brilliant job with Seb has hasnt really supported that with an other athlete of consequence.
Horwill has worked very hard at producing training formulas that hundreds of athletes can use but has shown less ability at working one to one.
Gandy has had dozens of really talented athletes through his hands at L/boro, but too few have reached senior international level in one piece.
Mark Rowland is currently doing extremely well , but he was coached by Alan Storey and Mark still uses Alan as a sounding board.
Storey has been around for a long time and coached 3 Olympic medals winners at 3 different events as well as a host of others. He doesnt get the credit he deserves unless you talk to the likes of Bud Baldaro.
So my vote is Storey in the past, Rowland in the future
