Has anyone ever averaged more MPW than Gerry Lindgren?

George Brown from Virginia went from a 52" waist to a 2:2x marathoner in 3yrs back in the eighties.I would say conservatively he has probably averaged 120 a week for 26yrs....straight through, on a streak. Not missed a single day for the entire 26 yrs, and still going.

I don't know about you guys, but for me, THATS impressive.

Lindgren has a mental illness - you cannot believe anything that he says. 16:0x for 4 miles when he couldn't break 4 for the mile. Sub 2:00 marathon pace beyond 20 miles ...

Obviously, the guy is delusional and needs medication, but instead people enable his illness by perpetuating his fabrications.

What do you expect to happen if someone was running that hard for that long? I have never seen any world class runners black out and pass out. It's POSSIBLE that Gerry did this and the fact that he passed out supports the possibility.

Furthermore, why do you want to NOT believe him? What do you have to gain from that? nothing. You have everything to gain from believing him - mostly a sense of limitlessness and self-belief and self-efficacy!

I'm on your side, i dunoooo, but he would not want to believe Gerry for the same reason I do not want to believe Jay Vistinger or whoever that troll was who claimed a 2:13 training run.

After watching that video with Lindgren claiming he was running sub 2 hour.....twice, I should think his other claims should be disputed. Massive talent, but jeez, you sound like Gary The Retard and then claim you were, "....well under 2 hours at 26 miles with about 150 yards to go.." Seriously, Apparently Geb is doing something really, really wrong. Well under 2 hours would suggest what???......like 1:56 at 26 miles? Steaming pile my friends.

What are you talking about? Sub 2 hour pace for a marathon is 28:10ish per 10k. Lingren's pr for 6 miles is 27:11, which converts to 28:10 for 10k. Therefore, it is impossible that he could have run 20 miles, let alone 26 miles at sub 2 hour pace. The only way it could be possible is if Lingdren BAGGED every other race in his career. Did Lingdren not know how to push himself at all unless he was running a marathon? It makes no sense.
