Haha, I find them funny.
I'm thinking they may save Wheating now off the 4 X Mile.
Centro ran conservatively today and should have plenty for an anchor leg tomorrow and he has the fastest 1500 best in the ncaa (with ulrey redshirting) and centro ran 3:36 mid season winning a race while ulrey ran 3:35 it in europe being dragged along.
I think they could go Fleet, Maag, Acosta, Centro and go for the win and possibly the record. Fleet only has to run hard enough to keep them in the top spots and Maag and Acosta could then get some separation and even if not Centro can win it for them.
That way Wheating, Greer and Thompson are rested for the 4X800 and Fleet has to gut out one more race. Even tired I say Fleet goes under 1:50 if he has to and that will keep them in the race as long as Greer and Thompson can average under 1:50 themselves.
Personally I'd love to see Wheating with a deficit to see him slam a time out, but most likely he'll be in the lead or right at it.
The only reason Wheating would do all is to prep for NCAA double which is a bigger goal than a sweep a Penn.
