I don't know if its been discussed before, but was Vin Lananna a fast runner in his college days. I know hes coached great athletes at quite a few different colleges. Just curious about his rise to such prominence as a coach.
Why would Lanana want the job at such an unknown in the middle of no where. He should apply at Ohio State, Texas, Duke, Notre Dame, UCLA, or Stanford. UO doesn't have any good departments, well except for the Math Department, stacked with Russian Jews.

If Oregon were smart (which they often are), they'd hire Boise State's AD, Gene Blaymaier. That dept has it goin' on.
why would vin want another gig in a dead place like eugene ? he should joing adidas, nike, puma ... or look for an AD gig at a big football school like Penn St, Texas, Florida. There's no career path in the northwest US.
