Listen to this. This is facts, not rhetorich like the OP and some tohers. The Steelers are one of the BEST teams in all categories in HISTORY of the NFL.
Fact: they were asked to be America's team long before the Cowboys. But, the Rooneys didn't want to be so conceited.
They have a poor economy and still have one of the best followings in the country.
ESPN have consistantly stated that Pittsburgh has the best female fans and most loyal fans overall.
Think back when they won their 4 duperbowls in 6 years. The 70's? That's when the Pittsburgh steelmills were closing down. People were forced to move to get jobs. Now displaced Pittsburghers and their offspring are everywhere.
I like the team. Love the owners, and know they are a small market team with the most loyal following.
If you want hate - give it to the constant cheating and sick-minded owner Raiders and caught-in-the-act cheating Patriots.
To the O.P. Did you watch any of the Steelers' 7 losses? Almost every one of those games were 4th quarter come from behind games by the other team. Most were 3 point or less games that the Steelers lost in last minute calls and plays. They finally win a few close one's down the stretch and now there's a conspiracy!?!? You should review the tapes of the earlier games that they lost!
The ravens shot themselves in the foot. They have had no pass defense this season, Mason dropped a TD and as a whole the defense had to many penalties. Not to mention the O line was soft this weekend. The refs always miss calls but thats the game.
it is going to be one hell of a division next year w/ the resurgent and young Bengals, Holmgren's reinvigorated Browns (sans Mangini cuz he's a dumbass), the always good Steelers, and the overrated Ravens w/ that dude from Blind Side.

And I have watched the last 2 Steelers games, which they've won. I was a little suspicious cuz it seemed like everytime they had a bad play a flag would appear. BUT, after they showed the replays I could agree that all of the flags were legit. The Steelers receivers get held A LOT late in games when other teams get worn down cuz of the rough Heinze Field.
The only call that I have seen the Steelers get that was a bad call was during the game against the Vikings. The infamous "tripping" call.

Glad to see the "overrated" Ravens made it out of the Wild card. I guess it's because they beat the overrated Pats. And you can argue all you want about Wes Welker not being in, but that's the name of the game kids.
