Name a time republican or democrats did not want the Olympic games in the US simply because they HATED the president or the "ghetto city" it's being held at? Do you realized that it was held in LA during one of the worst gang wars in American history? No complaints there America, just happy to have the games...

You're a bit out of date. Most recent Olympic Games (starting with LA 84) have left a positive balance sheet (Beijing being a notable exception). In fact, the surplus from the 84 games is still funding projects to this day.
