i heard in berlin last week that peter tegen would be replacing alsal soon since 0 medals were won in beijing and berlin.
3 months is too soon to tell definitively. Check back a year or two from now for a truer picture.

Seriously? Lagat was a 3:29 guy right out of college. Kiprop sh#t the bed at WC's if you remember that he was lolligaging to a romp of the Prefontaine mile. Bekele? Are you kidding me? That guy could run under 13:00 in trainers, that doesn't mean his coach is great, but maybe he is. Bekele has ALWAYS been great. For all we know Bekele might be faster if Salazar was his coach.
Lagat actually is not all that decorated for a 3:26 runner, might wonder how a runner that fast hasn't run faster than Ritz for 5K and hasn't beaten Kennedy's 3K mark despite being nearly 10 seconds faster at 1500 and only a second behind BK at 5K.
