Except studies have shown that most girls have latent lesbian curiosity.
The best man is a woman & the best woman is a man. Think about it.

I agree with goethe. #1 guard would cause people to notice, #2 looks normal. I don't even have hairy legs, in fact I wish I had more, but my roommate was a gorilla and he shaved with a guard. He has tried #1 and it look unnatural, but #2 just makes him look less hairy.
I guess I am lucky that I only have a few strands of hair on my legs, but I get self conscious about it sometimes.
The totally shaved look is pretty noticeable. Regardless of your "reasoning," people pretty much think you are a nancy. You shouldn't care about that though...
Truth is, most people just don't understand runners. We make non-runners nervous. Throw in shaving of legs and people just consider you an eccentric or something. Or just gay. Whatever.
Shaving for cycling has become normalized, so people don't judge as much. Running though, people do judge.

Yes, #2 is the way to go. I shaved last night with #2 and I am looking at my legs right now. Hair is perfect length. Long enough to go its own way, so it doesn't look stubbly at all. My wife can't even tell, and believe me, she would let me know if she could. I used to shave in college and she hated it, told me it was the gayest thing in the world.
#2 is not for people trying to have the shaved leg look, it is for hairy yetis who want to look good in short shorts. So it is for 2 different things.
If you want the totally shaved look, you either get too many massages or you are a total gay.
And exactly what is wrong with vanity?

Have one bad, deep road rash cleaned and bandaged and you'll understand that cyclists don't shave out of vanity.

I have raced road and mt. bike races at the NW pro level, at one time I trained over 500 miles a week on a bike. I've taken dives and I've gotten deep road rash both with shaved legs and with hairy legs. My statement is the same, it's just as much about vanity as functionality for cyclists. This COMING from a cyclist.
I consistently trim my legs with a clipper, but one time i did shave my legs completely. I liked it for running, but my problem came when I was naked. I felt weird having no hair on my legs, but hair on my balls. i don't want to shave my balls. So my reason is that, I feel like if i shaved my legs, i would eventually shave everything, and I don't want to do that.

Sounds like a real classy lady.
shaved legs are real homo. i did it before, but finally accepted the fact that i was acting like a homo.
i mean there is really nothing wrong with acting homo if you're a homo. but if you're straight and would like to be attractive to hetero girls, then leave your leg hair as is.
no, it makes you look like you shaved them last week.

There is nothing gayer than a guy who won't shave his legs because he's worried people might think he's gay.

You two having sex must have been an ugly sight.
Can anyone who has shaved their legs before comment on its effect on chafing? After taking time off, I often get chafing on the upper inner thigh when wearing short shorts, and I notice that the hair gets thinner in that area as I run more. Would shaving the legs, or even just the most affected area, reduce the chafing?

Won't that look like you're wearing a pair of hair chaps?

Be honest with yourself, why did you shave your legs? You know why you did it.
Shaving them is kind of gay, there really is no reason to do it unless you have really hairy legs.
If you do have really hairy legs, and feel as though you want to shave them, try clipping them with like a #2 guard instead. Big difference and no one questions you. Plus, you don't look gay.
I did this in college. I just didn't want to have really hairy legs since I was always wearing short shorts. Plus, I had defined legs, yet could not enjoy them with all of the hair. The #2 guard just made me look normal, and really brought out the definition. At the same time, I didn't look like a greased ladyboy.
Vanity.
Here's why men shave themselves. So they won't look like this.

running is mostly mental, so feeling faster helps.
Maybe if you're really slow it does.
You really suck at riding a bike then if you're hitting the ground that much.
