Nice. You can afford to be a house husband with that kind of dough.

Dream job!!!
Have an amazing rack and screw your way to the top. It worked for my girlfriends cousin at least.
Start your own business, work like a mad dog and reinvest back into the business.
Why so law-averse? Sure, you have to work long hours....big deal? If you're wanting that sort of bank and you expect to work less than 65 hours a week, then you're crazy anyway.
Sales: If you are good, you make money. I have a friend who works at a Mer-Benz dealership. He makes (or at least until the economy started sucking) over 200K. I think most high end sales jobs have that potential and more. I'm just a lowly civil engineer. Our firm has about 600 employees. I think there are about six people whose base gets them to $170K+. Bonus's get you over - and they are all shareholders.
MD's make more than that after a few years also. I think a lot are in the $500K to $800K range. The schooling and hours do suck though.
1. Spend 10 years obtaining art history degree.
2. ?
3. Make 200K a year.

Few MD's make that kind of money. Need to be in high pay field (derm, rads, neurosurg, etc..) and private practice.
1. Go to sleep.
2. Dream.
Stripper in vegas, drug sales, or MC club president
Phase 1 - Collect underpants
Phase 2 - ?
Phase 3 - Profit
I don't mind crazy hours. All I want to do is work. The reason I want to avoid law is because I've been a paralegal for three years and I f***ing hate lawyers. Killing them all would not be enough to satisfy me.

750k to pop zits?!?
Are you sure she's not really a high priced prostitute?
Seriously, you might want to double check and ask some questions about her line of work.
Lots of skin cancer and the endless quest for youth. And elective, vain cosmetic procedures are some of the fastest growing treatments.
Become a stockbroker. These guys are as dumb as rocks and still make money even when their client's are getting killed. A lot of cold calling when you start out, but if you are moderately successful at it after ten years you can coast.
Rockstar.
you could always do engineering, get into management/sales and work your way up to the top of a big international company. Very fulfilling work, after a while you can make well above the $300k mark. But that is actually pretty tough work, and you have to be really smart and likeable

Great advice!
Sales is the easiest job to get into with the fewest barriers to entry and no specialized schooling required. For MDs and Attys most will pile up massive amounts of debt and take several years to start earning the income. If you are good you could graduate with a basic liberal arts degree and start making in the six figures the first year. It does depend on your product but you would be surprised at some of the things that could put you up there. My brother was selling "Gummi Bears" and other candies in the late 80s making $75k. He is still in sales and has three boys in private high school and lives in a 4500sqft house with all the amenities.
