I don't think German is back yet. Don't think he is running at his best. I thought they were gonna redshirt him? Now it is like doubles. Something is not right with German right now. Hope I am way wrong on this.

Whatever he does, I predict right before and after his races that you and other weenies will here to make excuses, injury excuses and tail smooch.
I predict he will do both in a slower time than if he had concentrated on 1 event
Is there any reason for doing the double?
just cuz an athlete is entered in 2 events at a meet does not mean that they will race both events..... my money says he runs the 1500 only and they added his name to the 5000 for all the geniuses here on letsrun to second guess and speculate...

Good point
There will now probably be a new thread on which one he will do now though!

leave that for the big kids like Dean Karnasez.
Another idiot's logic exposed.
Not sure what the record is, but I'll say collegiate record 1500, coming back with a AJR 5000.
Is there rounds to the 1500, that might change my answer.

Hate the game, not the player.
bbbbbbbbbbbbuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmpppppppppppppp
Everyone gets swine flu before the race:
3:55 FIRST PLACE
15:02 FIRST PLACE
Fernandez hasn't raced much this outdoor season and he's used to double races, so I think he can handle it if he decides to race both. I won't make a time prediction, but I think he can afford to hold back in the 1500.
