Any polite ways to handle my neighbor letting his dog crap in my yard

Just one neighbor? How bout the whole neighborhood! Don't even get me started. We have so many retarded neighbors who just let their dogs run out the door first thing in the morning (I run early, and I see it all!!). It's such a low rent practice. God it pisses me off!

If you sprinkle mothballs on your lawn, the dogs will eat it and die. It is a terrible way to solve the problem, but it will teach these selfish-bastard-owners an important lesson.

Just talk to him. Hey bud, your wife seems have taken a liking to shitting my yard. I don't know how else to tell you this but, seriously could you talk to her? It's freaking my kids out.

Thank you! I can't believe a) the original poster hadn't thought of this and b) it took 15 posts for someone too. This board is full of pyschopaths (loveable pyschopaths of course).

Punt the dog across the street.

Fill a paper bage with the dog's crap, put it on the neighbor's front porch when it's dark out(make sure they are home)then light it on fire and run away as fast as you can. Their first reaction after opening the door will be to stomp out the fire. Flaming poop stuck on foot- perfect!

Put the dog's crap in a clear plastic bag, like a sandwich bag or something. Twist tie the bag to the dog's collar and send him home. Do this as often as possible. Eventually the dog owners will get the hint.

Don't let the dog owners see you do this. For all they know it could be any number of neighbors sending the crap home with Fido.

Tell your wife that since she doesn't like the way you want to deal with it the problem is hers to solve which includes clean up.

I actually took care of this once by tossing one load back into the neighbor's yard, just the yarrd, not the roof or steps and that was the last time their dog ever bothered our yard.

yeh yeh yeh I got this, i accept my wifes need for social norms---these neighbors in every other respect are beyond polite----my wife is too nice though---I have told her, if this us doing it to them we have heard by now

really likeing the posts, suggestions, whole thread kicks a** believe best option to be acting dumb "did you know Rover was going to the bathrooom in my yard??" or shoveling it up and placing it in their yard.
