i stopped getting my regular aches and pains
i'm a whole heck of a faster as far as top speed goes (surges, and accelerations too)
and i feel like it takes a lot less energy to run. i don't know how to explain this one)
now there's some good old fashioned, objective scientific evidence for ya: "aches and pains", "heck of a lot faster" "feel like it takes less energy." WHOOPEE!!
DURING THE TIME YOU IMPROVED YOUR LIFTS 100LBS, OR SINCE THAT TIME, DID YOU IMPROVE YOU 5k PR SIGNIFICANTLY(OVER YOUR PR FROM YOUR "100LBS WEAKER" PERIOD) OR NOT?? And if you didn't run any 5k's during that time, maybe it's because you were too busy lifting..... ??
No BS, did you race a lot faster at distance races or not? if not........
(and while squats are good, benching will do very, very little for a distance runner. So improve 300 lbs for all we care, it won't shit for your distance running)
