After goofing around for 3 years after college (running, traveling, every sec worth it), took a job in late 2005 with a starting salary of $42k.
june 2006 - raise to $46k
may 2007 - switched jobs - salary increased to $49k
january 2008 - raise (and promotion to) $61k
45% salary increase in 2.5 years. Decent but not outstanding. It will be at least 55% though by the end of 3 years.
Graduated medical school in 2001:
Intern salary - 38K
Currently in 6th year of residency/fellowship training (including subspecialty) - 50K
Med school debt (still unpaid): 170K
And I thought I had above avaerage intelligence
I make 70K and I am a systems analyst.
Systems Managers should be making at least $90K.

work for non-profit behavioral health started in admissions, then went to clinical trainer, so this is actually decent (for non-profit behavioral health)
18k out of school 16 years ago. Became a chiropractor with my own business 8years ago. LOST 50k the first two years, made 50K the fourth year and 200k+ in '06 and 07. I just kept working on my communication ability and surrounded myself with good people (staff) and treated everyone as if they were my mom or dad.
IT work. Started in 1996 @ $38k, make $75k now.
I only work 35 hours a week. Could make a lot more if I wanted the hours..

Journeymen grade (3-5 years depending on agency) approx 103k (depending on where you live in the country). 1-2% increases every other year after that.
Graduate in the spring, start at a top tier consulting firm in the summer.
Starting salary is 75k + 10-15k bonus.

2005: 73K as Civil Engineer - got my PE, then got fed up with being paid crap
2005-2007: Returned to school for MBA
2008: 120K base + 19K signing bonus + ~20K bonus at 2nd tier consulting company (A.T. Kearney)

Not in the town I live in. Where I live, $70k a year is high. Small rural community close to NOTHING. But I like it here.

Graduating in the spring and working for a well known management consulting firm with a starting salary of 75 plus 10 for showing up.
Grad BA 1986 - starting salary $20k, Financial Analyst at Aerospace company
1992 - Controller of entertainment software company - 40k
1996 MBA - returned to Aerospace company, 75k.
Current, run a business unit at Aerospace company $150base + 30-50k bonus.
