Time to start living again!
I completely understand what you are feeling right now. Some of the advice so far has been spot-on. You need running and you need other girls. It’s a winning combination.
Forget about the track and scheduled workouts for a while if you are not on a team. Hit the roads and the trails. Lay it all out. Remember what you are: a distance runner. That is what separates you from others, and that is why you know you will get over this. You endure pain, and you come out stronger on the other side.
Along with your running, start talking to girls. Ask coworkers or classmates or go to match.com. Your best bet is to ask as many girls as possible…keep your options open. The constant interaction with new females really does help heal things. Play it cool, don’t get too attached. Have fun and be yourself.
You are strong, man. That’s why you run. Always keep that in mind.
Take your next paycheck and blow it on booze and whores. I'm serious. Don't worry about the money. You'll get some more on your next payday and the amount lost is worth realizing what's important is how you feel, not how some dime a dozen chick feels. Have fun and good luck.
800 is right now.
You need to stay distracted, doing positive things. Idle time lets the mind wander and ponder. That's now what you need right now.
Be around people (friends) you enjoy. Do the things you like. FOCUS ON YOU. Keep your head up.
Her loss. Remind yourself that you'll be better off without her. Use it as a learning experience. Take from it the things you do and don't want from your next relationship.
There are soooo many other possibilies out there.
just hit the bar man
Whatever you do, don't start drinking.
get drunk and call her repeatedly at 3am, leaving desperate messages about how you love her. you should now have absolutely no chance at getting back with her. with that weight off your shoulders, run, stay busy, and just forget about her (serious about that part - time and staying busy will heal it)
If they used the term "broad" they must be about 90 and James Cagney fans.
Get over it ,Their is alot of fish in the sea.
drink too much, drive too fast and kick your granny.
I went out and bought a motorcycle.

Me and my ex just broke up and we dated a little over a year what is the best way to get over.
Start "dating" her mother.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ApG7CYuq8PcI got over my last girlfriend by hooking up with some random chick at a bar. Turned out she was a TRANNY and she was a HE! I went through with it because I was 90% there anyway. It wasn't so bad.
I'm in the same exact position right now. She started dating someone else too like two weeks after so i told her to f.ck off. I think you just need time off, get over the first hump of wanting to talk to her then you'll be fine.
Every day it gets easier. Thats how I try to live
Run with passion, anger and focus. Use it to fuel your running dominance!
if the hooking up with a tranny doesn't work then think of all of us married guys that wish we could be single.
.....sigh.
right on. It really does get easier every day remember that. One day you will look back on feeling like shit and realize that it was pointless and you're way better off now. Stay strong.
Find other women who will... allow you to act out any... stressors that may be keeping you from relaxing and getting along with your studies. They don't have to be willing. A fake cast and hiding a tire iron in a darkened spot in a parking lot helps, as does handcuffs. You can do this on and off for years whenever the image of "her" pops into your head.
