Maybe.
Would she want to coach with Farwell again?
She would be a great coach there.

How is Ethan Barron an "idiot" Tufts just tied Williams for 1st in the Nescac when Williams has won something like 15 of the past 16 meets. Morwick never seems happy, with Connie or Ethan. Maybe it's her and not the "idiot" mens coach

I don't know if I could handle my alma mater being coached by somebody from Tufts.

she already coached there once, then went to Tufts. She's a Dartmouth alumna.
bump
i think it would be really funny if Morwick went there. She definitely has the credentials--head coaching experience, and assistant coaching previously at Williams. i wonder what she would do to the program.
side note. i can't think of many combined programs that have female head coaches.
Well how about Brown, in the Ivy League

Kristen Morwick would ruin the Williams program if she were to take over as the head coach there, especially as it is a combined program.
She has a history of playing favorites and alienating some of her athletes, and clashes has had public clashes with members of the men's team and coaching staff during her time at Tufts. I fail to see how this would help the Williams program continue its winning ways.

It would be nice to see more women heading up combined programs. What is so wrong with that? Many of the great women coaches today are more than capable. It is nice to hear that Williams would want to hire a woman.
Hopefully K.M. takes the job. She's been squandering all the talent on the Tufts women's team for long enough. Not that I'd want to see Williams take a step down performance-wise since you always want to compete against the best, but she definitely needs to pack up and open up the floor for a real coach to step in.
Kristin Morwick would be a terrific choice for the Williams head coach. She has been working along side Ethan Barron since he joined the staff nearly five years as a GA, and has learned pretty much everything about the sport from him. Some of the other men's assitant coaches have also given her and her athletes training advice over the years. She has benefited a lot from being surrounded by the knowledgable Tufts men's coaches.
People are posting a lot of untrue crap on here, so I hope everyone remembers to take everything they read with a grain of salt. I have heard that Williams is just going to make do with the coaches they have next year and not hire anyone new until the following year.
If this Morwick woman is the same one I saw "coaching" the Tufts high jumpers a couple weeks ago, then god help any team she gets ahold of. She provided some of the most asinine technique corrections I'd heard in a long time.
Tufts guys (phrisbee/K ANY D) stop posting on this thread. Represent your program with some class.
I could see Williams make do with who they have for a year, although there is still plenty of time for a search this season if they wanted to do one. Why not post this job? Williams was goofy like that last time they posted this position.
The real story with Coach White is that he made the President very angry last year when he fought to have their track redone. He fights for what's right for his athletes no matter what, but it backfired this time. Williams has a huge team (130+) and when everyone's parents got involved writing letters and such, it embarrassed the President in front of the rich+ powerful alums. It has recently come to light that Pres. Schapiro actually sent an angry email after he was pressured to get the track redone, saying to find a way to get rid of coach white...(and hire a woman in his place. And now that that has come out, they are trying to make a financial settlement. It will be extremely interesting to see if CW calls them out or if he lets them get away with it.
He has brought more success to that team than any coach ever.
Here's an article about it
