I saw Herschel at the Milrose Games in the early80's ( I think he came with Mel Lattaney) When they took off their sweats he appeared to be twice the size of the other sprinters

I'd bet that 95% of all RB's, DB's, and WR's ran track in HS or college. Lewis Sanders comes to mind. He's a current DB for the Texans and was drafted by the Browns. Not sure if he ran track at Maryland but he was a great NY State sprinter in HS in the late 90's.
