Gonorrherpesyphillisaids.

What is obvious is that you don't know the difference between "personal experience" and knowing something "second-hand".

Are you a guy or girl? For men, most STDs don't present themselves painfully, though chlamydia and herpes can cause painful urination.
Which ones are impossible to forever get rid of?
HIV, HPV, and herpes
Which ones are bad enough that legally you're required to tell partners that you have the disease?
Old school laws in some states require you to report your sex partners to the Board of Health if you test positive for syphilis, gonnoreah, or HIV. If you knowingly have unprotected sex with someone when you have HIV, you can be charged with aggrivated assault.
What are your odds of getting these?
Highly likely without a condom, less likely with a condom. Also, some STDs, namely herpes, can travel. Herpes Simplex 1, oral herpes, can be transmitted to your genitals via oral sex. Ditto with Herpes Simplex 2, genital herpes. Also, if the woman or man has an open herpes lesion not covered by a condom, then the partner can get it through a break in the skin.
How soon after "the act" will the STD reveal itself?
Each one is different. Chlamyia, herpes, gonorreah, an syphilis can all be "sleepers", whereas the man might never know he has them. Now that is freaking scary! (Gonorreah and syphilis will present themselves later down the line, and latent stages of these disease can be deadly.)
Where can I learn more?
Obviously from letsrun.com, but I think I'd go to my doctor if I think I had something.
gotta be cancer homies
IMHO, HIV is harmless and it doesn't cause AIDS or any other disease.

Sorry, but that web site is BS.
I would say HIV/AIDS as #1, pregnancy as a strong #2.

Last time I checked, cancer was not a sexually transmitted disease. It's actually a NON-communicable disease.
On the other hand, I hope you were just trying to be a smart ass!

Well then check again. HPV, which is a sexually transmitted disease, can lead to cervical cancer.
Not very original but life is an STD and the death rate is 100 percent.
Which ones are the most painful/irritating?
Rectal herpes.
Which ones are impossible to forever get rid of?
HIV/AIDS, herpes.
Which ones are bad enough that legally you're required to tell partners that you have the disease?
All.
What are your odds of getting these?
Zero. I'm not active yet.
How soon after "the act" will the STD reveal itself?
Sometimes right away, other times years, like with syphillis
Where can I learn more?
Ask mom and dad.
I agree, HPV "can lead to cervical cancer." But cancer is not a STD.

Are you sure about that Flagpole. A lot of people have a vested interest in the AIDS Business. Diagnosis of AIDS in Africa is different from other parts of the World. Malnutrition is the biggest killer in Africa, not AIDS.

Who cares what the biggest killer is? Doesn't mean that AIDS isn't a problem or that HIV doesn't cause it (or at least has to be present). AIDS is much less of a death sentence now than it was in the 80s because of all the research that has been done since then -- my wife among them (she was a research scientist at Stanford working on AIDS in the late 80s and early 90s).
Whenever there are dollars spent on something, some yahoo will find all the reasons why they are wasted dollars or that the dollars should be spent on some other cause (usually a cause that said yahoo supports).
Magic Johnson now has HIV levels that are undetectable (due to the treatment he received which was borne out of the research done by brilliant scientists such as my wife), and he is pretty much symptom free, but I don't want a blood transfusion from him that's for sure.
What do you mean "who cares what the biggest killer is?"
That is not an intelligent thing to say about African famine. The AIDS diagnoses are often a way of ignoring the real killers: famine, political strife, indifference of hypocrites from developed countries.
Maybe you should look at normal scientific journals pretty much since the mid 80s. Scientists (not with an interest of money but more for discovery because most are dorks in a sense) have found a large wealth of knowledge because of the supression that HIV causes. Many more pathogens have been discovered due to the immune system suppression it is amazing. Old strains of the retrovirus could actually be suppressed almost completely with the old drugs but being a retrovirus it has a high mutation rate and it adapts, hence the whole superaids thing. There are two dominant strains and the dominant African strain is different from the American one.
Either way, I haven't looked at the site and don't need to. How can something like this be fake. One is diagnosed with AIDs after their Tcell count falls below a certain level. You can measure these people's Tcell counts dropping.
Interesting sidenote if you want to do some more research. There are some sex workers in Africa that have shown resistance to AIDs with a large increase in white blood cells that aggressively attack the virus. It was also found that many of them lost their immunity when they quit the sex trade then rejoined later.

You just answered your own question. Everyone is so convinced of the HIV/AIDS theory (which hasn't been proven) that alternate theories get completely ignored. I suggest you be more open minded and actually read the website.

Just because you don't understand a valid point does not make the point valid.
Let me try again with you -- It matters NOT that something may be a bigger killer than something that is ALSO a problem. Regardless of whether or not something is a bigger problem than AIDS, that does not negate the problem of AIDS. You can't just drop everything and concentrate on the biggest problem without paying attention to all the other problems too.
So, back to my original comment..."who cares what the biggest killer is?" Doesn't mean that AIDS isn't still something to be concerned with.

Science is not in the business of proving theories.
Proofs are for math.
Science provides evidence for or against theories. In that sense, nothing is ever really "proven" in science.
If you believe the evidence we currently have is BS, I'm sure we can get our hands on the HIV virus so that you can try it out yourself.
I will take the time to look at it but with everything I have learned and am learning now I find it hard to believe anyone can make such a broad sweeping statement that it isn't real. I would list some studies but as I said, almost every single pathogen is increased in HIV positive and AIDs patients due to their decreased immunity because of the specific cells that the HIV virus targets, so it is tied to almost every study as the immunosuppressed individuals used to be those with genetic faults so they were few and far in between. The HIV epidemic created a plethora of individuals who are immunosuppressed and therefore provided a large database of people that were obtaining somewhat less pathogenic viruses, bacteria, fungi, and parasites.
Would you please post some ideas from the site to which you believe this disease is made up.
I will agree that although there is much vested interest in finding a cure for AIDs it is frustrating because drug companies don't like doing research on drugs that won't make them money. Drugs are big money but also cost a HUGE amount to develop and run trials on. Finding cures will decrease their profits drastically however there are others out there looking for the answers.
