Animals are worthless on Letsrun; mace dogs, abuse chickens, etc.
That is, until someone wants to explain their reasoning on why they don't stretch.

Sounds like the symptoms I had and I have been diagnosed with early signs of Rheumatoid Arthritis. I had aching feet and stiff lower limbs but in particular my big toe was really sore. I then started to get stiff hands and had blood tests done which showed my RA factor was through the roof. I than had a more specific test for RA done and it came back mildly positive. I have started on Sulphasalazine but so far, while it has relieved my stiffness, it has caused me to develop major flu like symptoms and a general feeling of unwellness so I am off that just now. I just started taking Magnesium, Vit B complex and CoEnzyme Q10 and had also been told to try Malic Acid but I have yet been able to find it. Too ealry to tell if it has worked yet.
If you don't stretch (and are possibly chronically inflexible) what do you expect? If I don't cool down or stretch after training my legs are shot in the morning. If I do, they're usually fine. Oh and eating right, hydrating properly, and doing this all SOON after you finish running helps too.

Believe it or not, I feel better on twice a day than once a day (I'm 47). I'm not sure why, here are some of my theories...
I think the increased blood flow on 2X day/helps.
Hun, I haven't been streching for years. These are studies that inflexibility improves economy. I don't why you'd strech.

Here is a thread on why being inflexable is cool

I too have started feeling like I can't move in the morning over the last year. Though I have been dropping PR's from 10k to 26.2. I am going to Vitiam Shoppe on my lunch break to pick up Magniesum, Malic Acid, and maybe some other crap.
If you look at my post you may see why I (personally) would stretch!

As I continue to run it seems harder to get out of bed every morning. I am not talking about lack of motivation or b/c I had too many the night before. But my legs can't hardly move. I hobble around like an old man. As the morning wears on I feel better, then I can go out and run well in the evening.
Its seems to be getting worse even when I cut back mileage, any one else have this happen? are there any suggestion? thanks.
This has nothing to do with your running and everything to do with you being a phag and taking it up to poop shoot almost every night!
