the reason why he will lose again is because everyone loses. he was racing the second best 1500 runner of all time, he's not perfect. who knows what was going on in his head, he might be sick or something and thats why it came to a kickers race. WHO KNOWS
So he lost to the number 1 and number 2 1500 runners in the same fashion, getting out kicked. He ran the 1500 last week in 3:33. What does that rank, number 300 all-time?
Here's a simple rule Bekele, if you line up with a 1500 runner who has run faster than 3:33, you better have a good lead with 600 to go or your toast.
He does NOT understand this.
he's a playboy now. he will never reach the same outstanding heights that he once did, especially considering the noose that jos' boys continue to have tightening.

He ran 7.32 last week...lagat ran 7.34.
He is more a 5k guy than lagat, yet lagat with slower 3k form punished him, as did 6 others.
Sure his goal might the 15..but that aint no excuse when he clearly predicted at national record(12.55 it stands at) 5k earlier in the week!!

Dont worry about Bekele, its a loss...it happens in track. but he is pace guy and the pace was obviously slow and uneven. he cant push the pace by himself to make it fast, so he did his best. 1 second loss..ehh he can bare it. he will be back believe that.

Things change from week to week. Last week Lagat got beat by Buster, this week he beats Bekele. Make sense of that. The 1500m's Aussie record his goal this year as his 5000m committments ended at Commonwealth Games. So while this type of performance wasn't in his plans he may not run as well at the 5km distance this year. Time will tell I suppose.
