Predictions for TEGENKAMP's 5k in Stockholm!!

This is kind of what I am thinking. Tegenkamp is running great, but only a handfull of guys have gone sub 13:10 ever for the US. It is kind of hard to put him in that group yet (in my opinion). I would say 13:19. But hopefully I am wrong.

Of course, only one of these guys is US born. Sub 13:10 would be a phoenominal run for Tegenkamp, and is not to be taken lightly.........although if the race pans out right he is capable of doing it. Looking forward to seeing how he does

i honestly dont see him running sub-13:10. Alistair ran 13:08 was it? and i dont think Matt is faster than Alistair. So i think 13:12.

ne one know what time on the u.s. east coast will this race be going off? i have the wcsn account and i wanna watch it.

Well, since Gouch ran 13:10.00 I predict Teg will run 13:09.99. No, really, I think Teg is capable of running in the 13:05-13:10 range, but I don't know how likely that is.

It will rain this afternoon in Stockholm...but after that sunny and no wind, perfect for longdistance racing.

the guy ran what - 13:15 in an uneven paced race at USATF's a month ago. So people think it is unlikely that in a well-paced raced and an additional month of training he can't take 5sec off his usatf mark? you people are smoking something.

stockholm is 6 hours ahead of EDT. the race goes off at 8:45 so 2:45 eastern time.

Uneven at USATFs and well-paced at Galan are two different worlds. Well-paced at Galan will be 12:55 pace and he will not be able to hold that. How he handles running 20 meters behind the lead pack and if anyone is back there with him, will determine his time.

Well, it didn't help Ritz. 13:12-13:13 sounds about right for a first race in Europe. He will be 13:05-13:10 later this summer.
