I have no problem with foreigners running NCAA or even coming to America. The only problem I have is that too many have not learned enough English and consequently problems arise. Here in central NC, the problem became very clear this past week. Three people have drown in local lakes, 2 of them Hispanic who did not speak English. There are signs located by the water warning of "no lifeguards on duty", etc., but they are only written in English. Some people are saying that this helped contribute to the drownings. I disagree that it lead to the drownings because a person should know to avoid deep water if they can't swim, regardess of any language barriers. However, you know that there are lawyers waiting to get a piece of the action. Some people expect our country to adapt to non-English speakers instead of expecting them to learn the language. This is impossible - there are too many different laguages spoken in our country.
We have misguided standards for admitting immigrants - who cares if they know George Washingon was the first president or that we declared independence in 1776. Instead, I think immigrants should be required to pass a reading/speaking test of basic English. If an adult immigrant cannot read/speak English at about a 5th or 6th grade level, I don't think they should be admitted. Without the ability to speak the language, their ability to get jobs is limited so they are forced into minimum wage jobs or welfare.
Getting back to the topic, if a foreigner can meet the entrance requirements for a US college then they should be admitted. Let's face it, foreign students are considerably more motivated and are more advanced academically than the average US high school student. While our kids are playing video games, Kenyan students are running and studying. The incredible wealth in our country has helped to contribute to a lazy society. Just think of how many college basketball and football players you see in TV interviews who speak so horribly that you can barely understand what they are saying even though they've lived here all their lives. It is much more important that we begin limiting non-qualified athletes from entering our universities and taking spots away from qualified students than it is to limit qualified foreigners.
