I am all for transgender rights, but if Nikki herself is misgendering women like English Gardner and Jenny Simpson, then she should be more tolerant if others occasionally misgender her.

I think the entire point here is to have some compassion, for all people, including transgenders, as they themselves are misgendering people. It so easy to expect an entire society to refer to you with pronouns which never held those meanings before, as Nikki herself is now finding out, as I point out to her that she herself could be deemed insensitive in referring to women as guys.
If I see a couple of women I know in the park I'll say, "How are you guys doing?" Guys is a generic term. I would feel uncomfortable saying, "How are you gals (ladies, women, or females) doing?"

Exactly. You have nailed it. Just as most of us feel uncomfortable when watching Nikki run and referring to her as being more than one person, as a they. So we can try but it makes us uncomfortable. Just as you are uncomfortable if you see a man and a woman, and you call them “gals.” You are really understanding this.

I did misread your post. I thought it was a man and a woman and you didn’t feel comfortable calling them gals. But it is odd to me that you would call two women guys. I would call them gals. They are female after all.

This. Nikki is showing hate here.
Calling Nikki "her" is not misgendering. She is a woman and "her" is a scientifically accurate pronoun.
In this case, she straight up calls girls "guys". It may or may not have been intentional. But what she did actually is the definition of misgendering. It could be seen as literal violence. Intentional or not, she really does need to apologize. Hopefully the young ladies in question are doing OK.
This isn't a thing. I have two daughters. I address them as hey guys all the time. In group chats that include myself, my wife, my daughters commonly start with "hi guys" or "hey guys." When my daughters were in high school, I frequently heard girls addressing a group of female friends as "hey guys."
This is EXACTLY what many of those on the political right say to those who want their special pronouns and are upset if they feel they are mis-pronouned.
In order to answer you the OP would have to be serious.
OP is a bell-end
This is the line of demarcation between those of us with smarts and folks like you: you think I am attacking Nikki because I want her to see what it is like to have to watch every word simply because of someone else’s narcissism. I have exposed her and you. And I am a liberal.

Stop with your fake outrage. You're being silly.
So in your world, calling a woman (nikki) "her" is misgendering. But Nikki calling women "guys" is not misgendering? You have it backwards.
If its not fake outrage when Trans get mad at being called guys, its not fake outrage when Nikki calls women guys.

Exactly. You are a logical person. Not easy to find that here.
