Make an HR(Humanoid Robot) athlete division and make them run against each other. Oh wait, we already have politicians and bad puns. P..S. Also make.a Scifi running movie. But instead of Chariots of fire or Eye of the tiger have Highly Suspect's My name is human as intro and The Scorpions' Humanity as closing credit soundtracks. Like Westworld, but for running addicts.
There were already robots decades ago that could probably do it in 15 minutes
because they had wheels and could ROLL.
Nothing is achieved in robotics by trying to copy human mechanics. That just limits them.
The DARPA project which basically led to the development of Boston Dynamics not agree with you.
During the Fukushima Daiichi Accident, people could obviously not go in due to the radiation. They sent in the best robots of the time to try do things, but they all got stopped by things such as stairs or door knobs. Everything that we have build is based on humans. Develop a 10 foot high bipedal robot and that won’t be helpful in 99% of use cases either.
Anyway, billions are being invested in this. Maybe they should call you for advice.

yes, have them call me and I'll tell them to stop wasting my tax money. That's what all government projects are about.
As has been discussed already, your humanoid robot hero fell down and couldn't get up. Not the best candidate for stair climbing.
My advice to nuclear plant operators is install access pathways for simple robots. Don't rely on fancy toys

Ok, since you have privileged information, put your $ where your mouth is. Short Hyundai and Tesla stocks. They are investing billions in robotics. Since you say it’s worthless, you can make a lot of $ by shorting the stocks. That way, you can more than make up the tax $ that you paid into this.
We are close to having robots acting as perfect pacemakers for the whole race.
Doubtful it could ever do the steeple. :)
From two hours to 50 minutes in a year for the half! I am doubtful it will be soon, but I am sure it would one day be possible. Not sure there is a good reason why, to make that happen. The 400m hurdles might also be a challenge.
