Im as big a fan of GG and aussie running as anyone but the amount of ridiculous PBs in that race tells me the wind was gusting in such a way that - with the exception of GG - none of those who ran PBs today will ever get close to those times again. Still was fun to watch, especially hearing Bruce Mcavaney jizz all over his mic after seeing the times.

A decent PB was expected from Murphy after his 400 improving a lot this season but I think most were expecting something around 20 low rather than sub 20.

This was not ratified for various arguable reasons, but now because of the drugs accusations, he will forever be suspected of having cheated. But it all could be false and totally untrue as well, and he could have easily been slipped that substance by those around him wanting to cash in on his financial success, like as in Tyson Gay’s case!
