Kerley did not run a 9.60. According to mboard poster "R.I.C.O. Young" a frame by fame analysis shows something more like a 10.18 if you add in 0.10 for a reaction time.
I actually brought this up on Reddit the other day. There is a chance it’s actually Lyles. Probably oblique if I had to take a guess though. What question marks does Trayvon bromell have? Outside of just speculation

I'm sure he wanted this to be the news instead of his 2 year ban that was just announced.
yeah, 2 year whereabouts ban, backdated to last august. who cares what you're doing in practice.
Who is going to tell him that World Athletics is banning him for life for signing with the Enhanced Games? He thinks he will be trying to make a team for LA28. That ain't happening.
We've got the anime nerd, cornball try hard on one side and the ignorant, delusional drug thug on the other. After the heavyweight belt incident and the butt kicking Lyles got, I'm not sure which of them is stupider and less appealing. Still holding out hope for KFK.

As someone who believes there is less an a 1% chance Bolt's record was achieved without PEDs, given virtually all of his elite training partners and teammates from that era were eventually popped, I'll hold whatever the new record will be with the same level of respect as the current.
I am curious as to what the real clean WR is. Other than Bolt who I suspect just was never caught, failure was swept under the rug, etc... every other runner with a sub 9.76 has bans to their name.
Your post is flawed. You may be correct about Bolt but you have no proof, so saying less than 1% is just waffle.
In fact, to put a percentage at all is flawed. The testing system is there for a reason and it's the best we've got. I.e., innocent until proven guilty.
So to answer your musing, Bolt is the clean WR holder with his 9.58.

Whereabouts failures are routinely forgiven though, depending on the athlete - across all sports, especially in British circles.
- Banned athletes have been allowed to compete in the Olympic Games e.g. David Millar (2012 Mens' Road Race) in direct contravention of Olympic selection protocols.
- National Team doctors have admitted to have ordered PEDs that were delivered to the doors of National training centres (2021 Richard Freeman). No athletes were ever investigated in spite of numerous documented blood passport violations that were then legally challenged using loopholes and ludicrous counter-arguments that were unfortunately readily accepted by anti-doping authorities leading to reduced bans or complete forgiveness.
- Athletes have been photographed using drug-taking paraphernalia (prohibited inhalers) during International endurance races that they went on to win (Chris Froome, Tour de Romandie, 2014) - no sanctions.
PEDs are endemic within amateur sports - trainers of under-16s regional rugby squads are serving prison sentences for possessing hundreds of doses of testosterone that were presumed (by prosecutors) to be supplies for the children.
Lamine Diack, as the president of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF, now World Athletics) and enforcer of anti-doping policy was himself criminally investigated by a WADA independent commission and found guilty of facilitating state-sponsored doping. The present leader, Lord Coe had been working at his side for many years yet has been considered to be a worthy champion of anti-doping investigations - all the while, sitting across the table from him, is a flagrant criminal who Coe has no clue about. Remember that Coe has stated that he sees no conflict of interest in his receiving (personally) millions of dollars from Nike who were themselves under a cloud of suspicion regarding sponsorships of doped athletes / organisations.
So over this guy. No need to give him time of day. It looked like there was no reaction time & that he wasn't running hard through the line + he's not even living with some amount of fear of drug testers. What I don't get is why 8k people liked that nonsense.
Dude is just rage baiting. Everyone with half a brain knows that a guy with a stopwatch on the other side of the track would be lucky to be accurate within a quarter second. In this case, more like a half second.
Interesting that this is how elites train. They have cheap apps on phones/ipads nowadays (actually, probably like 10-12 years ago) where you can set up FAT with a photo finish. Maybe not 100% accurate, but way better than a guy that's half paying attention, clicking a stopwatch.
