I've had good and bad races at BU, but regardless of how I felt on the day, the track always yielded fast times. To add to the unique banking statement, I think I also read somewhere that entering the turns it banks harshly and holds the angle until halfway through the bank, then it gradually levels out as you exit the banks, which I think is a unique feature to BU. You can almost feel the track just slingshot you efficiently no matter how you feel early on, so even if you hit a wall—at least in my case—the hyper efficient start just set me up for a decent time even if I slow down considerably towards the end. It just forces you out quickly by design.
