he already has a NIL with Diadora - have to imagine unless something actually ethically controversial happens, he'll continue on with them
Diadora is an Italian brand. Italians like fiery personalities. He'll stay with Diadora and sign with other brands that like fiery personalities. Maybe Cheetos.
Marco is a big talent and sponsors recognize this.
Beside his deal with Diadora, I believe Marco also has a business relationship with Maurten.
Building his brand.
What actually is Diadora? Clothing, shoe brand? I don’t mean any disrespect to the brand, but they aren’t a household name…
Historically, they would be better known as a soccer and tennis brand. The last decade or so, they've been building a running brand, and while it's gained popularity, it might be better known in Italy where it's based.
They have a standing challenge right now. Any US high schooler that breaks 4 minutes for the mile in Diadora spikes gets an instant NIL.
Our sport needs a "bad boy". Look how much controversy he has sparked... multiple letsrun threads with passionate commentary. Even if 90+% of us can't stand him, he will develop a cult following. Dennis Rodman, Terrell Owens, Ty Cobb, Fred Kerley, etc. He's going to make bank off of all this hate.

Sorry he's not a cult following. Negative press shouldn't impress anyone. We already have two aholes in our sport. Christian and Sha'carri. Good enough
My opinions on Marco have seriously worsened after this race. I always thought the fake hood/gangster was odd (probably caused by a lack of a father figure in his life) but for a guy who’s whole persona is racing brave to go into lane 3 in the last straight demonstrates how much of a pu$y he really is.
He’s just the modern day Goucher. The personality and antics are very similar. No father figure. Working odd jobs to help support the family. Signs a deal with a somewhat niche brand (Fila for goucher and diadora for Langon) now to tell if it will end in tragedy and mental health struggles on top of numerous injuries and more antics. Oh and I guess we will see if he gets a shiny new bmw when he gets the chance…

I first met Adam Goucher when he was in tenth grade. Over the years, he could sometimes come across as a bit cocky or temperamental, but I think he was a generally respectful guy and an honest competitor. As far as I know, he’s been a good husband, a good cat dad, and a good father. I don’t recall any time when he came across like this guy, who is an obnoxious ass. I have no idea whether he will spark more interest in the sport, or whether his personality will make him more or less marketable. I just think that the sport deserves better than what I saw from him this weekend.
