I think that's a bit of a dated perspective. There doesn't seem to be a noticeable difference between the super spikes now. I know Hoka is still waiting for a medal on the track, but they also don't have any of the very top talent yet. You certainly see good results from Hoka athletes, notably, Luis Grijalva's sub-13 performances.
The Norwegian kid isn’t bad either, though he hasn’t been quite as impressive as of recent.
Puma or ON , two lame companies. Puma is about to be bought by a Chinese company right now
Puma is in real financial trouble, and the running side didn’t help. Pascal Dobert ran the sponsorship program into the ground, and while on Tokyo at the WC he got the boot
I have heard Brosnan, Van Hoy, Gary, many of usual suspects. I now wonder if this coach will be Craig Nowak (Sinclairs boyfriend who coached her this year)?
Well known HOKA has a middle distance team launching in Portland. This makes complete sense. Should be announced soon with a prominent college coach heading it up.
I don't get posts like this.
You hint at something but don't just say it. Name the coach. You already are protected by anonymity.
Why would you launch the team in Portland? People associate Portland with Nike. We've had a ton of track teams in Portland.
