Surely you can't be serious
No, but I scream FREEDOM! whenever my shift ends.
Don’t piss down my back and tell me it’s raining

Yours is a very strange species. And you'd be surprised at how many there are. Intelligent but savage.
That's potentially a liability... cujo sounds like cuyo, which sounds like culo
It's like when my boomer father was describing to my mother and me a cute reading alcove as "nook-y", and an employee overheard that conversation and immediately took it as nookie
Love to use movie or book quotes:
One of my favorites is using different variations of
" . . . he saved me, in every way a person can be saved." (As in, "Now you know there was a man named Jack Dawson and that he save me . . .")
For example, "Yes, I cleaned the kitchen, in every way it could be cleaned."
Literally anytime my dad hears the word necessary used by someone he will immediately quote Patches O' Houlihan from dodgeball, "Necessary?! Is it necessary I drink my own urine? No but it's sterile and I like the taste!"
I coulda been a contender. I coulda been somebody, instead of a bum, which is what I am.
I like this using this one:
"The only thing that gives orders is balls. Got any?"

I am serious, and don't call me Shirley.
"I'm going to do what I've got to do to get the union back"
"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."
I have to go return some video tapes.
I would never do that.
"You're obviously the brains of this outfit"
Actually, there is a thing about hearing similar phrases, words etc when reading and listening to people and listening to music.
I have that myself. I can hear a thing and I turn it into something similar, often ironic, absurd or metaphorical and of course laugh to myself about it and use it later as a joke.
Happens all day.
I think it is nurture, as I grew up in a house of sarcasm, whit, wordplay and implication. It is to the point that exact, explicit, literal explanations take concentration to hear and acknowledge. Not great for people who feel like they are being considerate being literal...ha ha

I am trying to figure out why anyone would say anything "surreptitiously" while talking to people. I do use movie quotes, but only for humor. But then, if it is done surreptitiously, why do it?
What we have here is failure to communicate.
There's a lot i could say right now
