A few things I've noticed with these French masters who are outstanding is that first of all they all appear to be married and happily married at that compared to Americans and British who are often divorced and secondly they have balanced diets and balanced lifestyles based on family values.
Typically a French family meets all the extended family or many of the extended family on a Sunday and have a huge meal together which lasts for hours and hours.
Having a healthy diet is natural in France and eating sweets for adults is not natural. The French typically have a small breakfast or no breakfast and then a good lunch followed by a light evening meal. Snacking between meals is unusual for French people as well as going to Starbucks and ordering those massive coffees with all that milk and sugar which can add up to close to 200 calories.
French culture is more sophisticated and if you look at French TV you have programs on channels like Arte which are culture based and show different countries and cultures throughout the world and good conversations from the protagonists on TV.
French people do not put up with BS from their leaders and in fact the French current leader only has around a 30 or 40% approval rating.
