1:06:34 for RTJ at halfway
His pace has just slowed down by a couple seconds per mile in the last 6k

RantoJapan at the back of the women's leading group. These women are running 2:13 pace.
RTJ seems to be working hard and fading slightly behind the lead woman

So funny to be interested in YouTubers.
There is still a slight chance for Suguru to break the national record
I was right about John Korir, he was just biding his time.
Now he's gone. 7 second lead.

So funny to be interested in the science experiments happening 10 minutes further up the road
Robbo and Haftu were running solid 3.01s but in the 25k split Brett dropped back to 3.04s. Haffie still 3.01s. Could be the start of a fade for Brett.
Lemma got dropped. That's a surprise.
These fools missed Korir’s break again.

proof that mileage is overrated.
Silver Daddy Lemma got dropped. Father Time catching up.
16:53 5K from 20-25k for RTJ
Quite a steep drop off from the initial 15:30s, big blow up happening

Ouch!
He is might actually finish slower than his PR set in Tokyo earlier this year

Sun is shining. I think he's overheating.

Was he just pacing? Is he now waiting for Jen and Izzy?
Why would he be pacing Haftu? they're not even from the same squad.
From all accounts Brett wanted to get back his Aus record.
I think this is essentially the changing of the guard in Aus marathoning atm. Brett's 34 and not getting any faster
At least the women’s race is interesting, but hard to bet against Peris. Joyciline won’t be able to match her if it comes down to kick.
Alex Yee and Phil Sesemann in lockstep, both crossing 30k at 1:30:23
